Assistant General Manager (Part-Time)

About the Role

Body Fit Training (BFT) is seeking an energetic, organized, and sales-driven Assistant General Manager to help oversee daily studio operations while delivering an exceptional member experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and is passionate about growing a thriving fitness community.

The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in membership sales, member retention, studio administration, and team support while helping the studio achieve its growth and service goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Membership Growth

  • Conduct membership consultations and convert prospects into members
  • Follow up with leads, trial members, referrals, and former members
  • Execute sales processes and achieve monthly membership goals
  • Assist with community outreach, grassroots marketing, and partnership opportunities
  • Support promotional campaigns, challenges, and studio events

Member Experience & Retention

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests
  • Welcome new members and ensure a positive onboarding experience
  • Build strong relationships that encourage long-term member retention
  • Address member questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly
  • Support member engagement initiatives, events, and accountability programs

Studio Operations

  • Assist with daily studio operations and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Maintain accurate member records, reports, and system updates
  • Support inventory management and supply ordering
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Team Support & Leadership

  • Lead by example through professionalism, positivity, and accountability
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and development initiatives
  • Foster a positive team culture and strong internal communication
  • Collaborate with management to achieve studio performance goals
  • Assist in implementing systems and processes that improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industries preferred
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:45 AM – 11:00 AM
